We are honored to have Shaykh Gyasi Mckinzie join our teaching team.
Sh. Gyasi (pronounced Ja-see) earned his B.A. from the College of Dawah and Usool Ad-Deen, and a diploma in Arabic from the Islamic University of Medina in 2000. He also has a Masters in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University and has been pursuing his Islamic chaplaincy certification from Hartford Seminary.
He is currently the Executive Director of Amoud Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Irving, Texas that provides humanitarian assistance to the Horn of Africa.
Sh. Gyasi will be teaching our Islamic Manners class. We ask Allah to bless his efforts.
